The first conditional - podmínkové věty

První podmínkové věty (the first conditional) používáme pro popis událostí v přítomnosti. Např.: Pokud mi řekneš pravdu, pomohu ti.

The first conditional

We use it when we talk about present happening.
There are two ways how we can make sentences:

IF + PRESENT TENSE, FUTURE TENSE.

There is a comma.

Examples:

If you love him, you will do it.
If he finishes the letter now, I will send it.
If you tell me the truth, I will help you.
If you wash the car, it will be clear.
If I go out tonight with my friends, I won´t be with you here.

FUTURE TENSE IF + PRESENT TENSE.

There is not a comma.

Examples:

You will do it if you love him.
I will send it if he finishes the letter now.
I will help you if you tell me the truth.
The car will be clear if you wash it.
I won´t be with you here if I go out tonight with my friends.
